Two words: Tara Motyer

My dear friend Tara Motyer (I consulted with her on how I should address her in my blog- she voted for YOUR HIGHNESS...just kidding) is an incredible photographer. I would like to take some credit for her success, but alas I cannot. When she is famous, I can only say that I knew her way back when. I hope she doesn't forget the little people. She is truly wonderful and talented. And best of all she is MY FRIEND. To see more of her greatness and talent visit her website: Dragonfly Photo and Design.
(Crazy Lady, Love Spencer)<----Spencer has been helping to update and upload pictures to the blog. Evidently I gave him a little too much latitude. Sorry Tara.

House Update

We have been so preoccupied with other things that we haven't given a house update. It is coming right along. The next step is the electrical wiring. We are busy trying to pick out rock and stucco.

Daddy's Girl

Cute genes, thank mom. Fashion sense, thank the Crowells.

Birds of a feather ...

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Barnes for the Glow Worm !!

Spencer launches a Rocket

Spencer participated in a Scout Merit Badge clinic the last couple of Saturdays. Yesterday was lift off. He was quite pleased that his rocket went the highest.

Chillin' in the Sun

The Doctor took Sydney off her BilliBelt, but she is still looking a bit yellow. I took the opportunity today to place her in the sun. It seems to me that she is quite enjoying it.

Ethan is the big 10!

For the last couple of kid's birthdays we have had "week long" birthdays- mostly because of busy schedules. We continued this tradition with Ethan. Ethan decided he wanted to go skiing for his birthday. Friday this kids had a half day and Christopher had taken the day off so they went skiing. This time the boys convinced Jordan to come along too. They all had a great time. Sunday, Ethan decided he wanted lobster and steak for dinner. Thanks to Ethan we all had a fabulous dinner. Finally on Monday we had cake and opened presents. He got some pretty cool presents. We love ETHAN!!!

Glow Worm

Sydney was looking like a minature oompa-loompa today. We took her to the Doctor and then to the lab. She has high billrubin (jaundice). She gets to wear a special light on her back until her count is back down. Thank goodness it is all ready working, so she doesn't remind me of an oompa-loompa anymore. She reminds me of a glow worm.
