Preston's Sax Solo

Preston is a very talented Sax player. I hadn't realized that he had a Sax solo in the end of year concert until they annouced his name. He swears that he told me, but...

Gotta love James Bond

Chocolate Syrup

It might seem as though I never watch Adam, I really do. I have figured that I can't always blame him for the messes he makes. He can't help it if his older siblings leave the Chocolate Syrup out on a counter that he can strategically reach if he climbs on his chair (see the left background of the pictures.) Instead of screaming and yelling, I have decided to take pictures and let him clean up as much of the mess as possible. We will see how long this lasts because I heard him muttering as he was cleaning, "I like this". It might not be as much of a punishment as I thought.

Storytime: The Adventures of Kate

Once upon a time there was a poor prisoner named Kate. She was fed and watered every day, but longed to be free. One day, the giants who had captured her, came to feed her, but accidentally left the prison door open. Finally, she had her chance to escape. That night she climbed out of the prison cell and into freedom. She could finally escape the evil giants' grasp. She jumped down the cliff the prison was on top of and set off across the huge dead desert. She made her trek all the way across the desert to the foot of the tall Thirteenstair Mountain and started to climb. The climb was long and brutal, she had no water or food. She was so famished once she reached the top that she didn't care if she were recaptured. All she wanted was some food and water. Later that day, she heard of a place called "The Parent's Bathroom". She heard that there was water there, and set off again in search of water. As she was searching for water in the Parent's Bathroom, the leader giant came in and saw her. "AHHH!" Exclaimed the leader, "you are out! I almost turned you into Flat Stanley." She was recaptured, but she didn't care because now she had food and water all the time. She now realizes that being captured isn't so bad after all. (written by Spencer)

Sharpie in the CAR!

Jordan and Ethan were out cleaning the car yesterday, when Jordan came running in to tell me that Adam had a SHARPIE. I thought, 'There goes the leather in the car. I wonder if it is possible to get Sharpie off of leather?' Then Jordan informed me that it wasn't on the car, but on Adam's face. Then I wondered how to get Sharpie off of his face. Spencer rummaged through my makeup and found makeup remover. Luckily, it worked.

Kids on Stairs

As I was snapping pictures, I noticed Adam got a little swagger to his shoulder. I half expected him to get up and start modeling.

Photoshop Fun!

Saturday we went to Christopher's Boss' Wedding Blessing. We had a picture taken, but it was in front of a busy street. I had fun playing with different backgrounds. When I showed it to Spencer he thought it was 'dishonest to move the family, especially to Kyoto'. I was impressed that he had recognized the picture from which I had taken the background. And I am disclosing the change to the world, so my 15 year old will get off my case.
