Adam turns 2 years old!

Adam is 2!! He was excited to open all his presents. He got a ride on motorcycle like his Dad's although his is not as loud. He was quite disappointed the next day when his cake was all gone. I think he is getting the idea of the birthday thing. When he looks at the pictures from his birthday he tries to still blow out the candles.

Pinocchio

For the last few years the kids have been in the Missoula Children's Theater Production. This year it was Pinocchio. The kids tried out for the play on Monday and performed it the next Saturday. Jordan and Ethan really enjoyed themselves.

Pinewood Derby

Ethan had a very successful Pinewood Derby. He won a few races and also won 'BEST IN SHOW'. His car was named 'Flamer' and most importantly he enjoyed working on it with his Dad.

Concrete Footing Prep

It is really cold here, but these guys were out first thing this morning laying rebar and boards. Pretty soon we should have a foundation layed. It is exciting to see progress.

Dirt Dirt Dirt

What is this you ask? This is the excavation for our foundation!!! We have really begun. Because of hillside ordinances, we get to dig 2 1/2 feet below where our foundation will be and fill it with a different kind of dirt. The dirt that is there has too much clay.

Preston's Braces

Preston was delighted to get braces (or not) and even more excited to have me take a picture and put it on the blog (or not). He actually has been a really good sport about the whole thing. And I think he is quite cute in his braces.
