Slip and Slide

We have a nice hill on the side of our house. We bought a huge roll of plastic and made a mega slip and slide.  It is really fun.  The kids get pretty good speed coming down the hill.  They dared Christopher to go down clothes and all, which he did.  Boys will be boys- ALWAYS.

Spencer's "First Date"

Long ago, Christopher was playing Spencer in foosball and had a deal going that if Spencer won, Christopher would pay for Spencer's first date.  Some where along the line it morphed into Christopher planning Spencer's first date and paying for it.  For months we tried to think of who he should take and what they should do.  We kept everything a secret.  He had no idea who he was going with, along with what they were doing. Although Prom was before his "first date", we still call this his "first date".

He was going with the girl who gives him a ride everyday to school.  He would often lament to her about not knowing about his first date and speculate who it was with.  She did a marvelous job keeping everything a secret!!!!  Thanks Kaidree.

We rented a limosine and they ate at a local Brazilian restaurant.  Thanks to the good sports who went with him and also didn't know what they were doing for the date. The girls knew who their dates were, the boys did not.  Everyone had a BLAST.

Jordan's Play

Jordan was excited to be in the Missoula Children's Theater rendition of Snow White.  She was a Bunny.  An ADORABLE BUNNY

Ethan's Regionals in Portland

Ethan has only been doing gymnastics for less than a year and competitive gymnastics since November.  We were amazed when he made it to Regionals.  It was a good experience for him.  He enjoyed spending some quality time with Dad.

Spencer's Prom

At Spencer's school, Prom is the JR/SR Prom.  It didn't occur to me that Spencer could go, he is just a sophomore and was just turning 16.  He came home from school Monday and informed me that one of his good friends (a Junior) didn't have a date yet and he wondered if he could take her.  He was scheduled to go to Portland with Ethan and Christopher, but after talking it over with Ethan, he got the okay to stay home and go to Prom.  Luckily, he all ready owns a tux, so we just had to find a Lime Green Tie. (no small task a few days before Prom).  He looked so dapper.  Christopher was in Portland and I was at Jordan's Play, thankfully, Preston took some cute pictures of the handsome couple.

Spencer is 16!!

Spencer turned 16 on Easter Sunday.  How cool is that?  He was so excited to turn 16 and finally be able to date.  Spencer is so awesome.  We couldn't ask for a better older brother and example. We are certainly blessed to have in our family.
