Sri Lanka- Safari

We had a blast on Safari in Sri Lanka. There are 2 main game reserves. We were scheduled to go to just one, but we had such a good time that we went to the other the next day.

Sri Lanka- The Beach

Sri Lanka has beautiful beaches which we enjoyed to the fullest. The kids perfected their boogey board and surfing skills.

On the way to the beach we stopped at a Turtle Sanctuary. Look at how cute these little turtles are.

Sri Lanka- Sigiriya

We loved our visit to Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka is a beautiful country with wonderful people.

Here is a random shopping expedition picture thrown in. I wanted to share a fantastic story. The shopping was good in Colombo (check your clothes you probably have quite a few things made in Sri Lanka) We shopped at several shops and had many bags. In one shop we ended up leaving a big bag. The shop didn't discover our bag until several minutes later. A salesman headed out to the crowded streets and was able to track us down several blocks away.- A foreign family with 6 kids tends to stick out in Colombo, but still, we could have been anywhere. We followed him back to the shop to grab our bag and we ended up buying more clothes just because we were so thankful. Nice to have honest, helpful people looking out for you when you make a mistake.

Jordan and Mindy's Trip to Phuket, Thailand

For Christmas, Jordan got a trip with Mom to Phuket, Thailand. We spent 3 days in sunny Phuket.

We swam in the pool, played at the beach, ate good food, got our nails done, our feet massaged and explored Phuket. I loved having the opportunity to be with Jordan. I always learn a lot from her and we both love to laugh.
