Krabi- Elephants

This elephant ride was one of our all time favorite rides. It was through a beautiful part of the jungle in Thailand.

Krabi- Tiger Temple

At the top of a very jagged mountain there is a temple named Tiger Temple. Both times we have been to Krabi, we have seen this temple. We finally made arrangements to visit it. Our driver agreed to take us to what we thought was the top. When we arrived at the parking lot it was apparent that there were no roads to the top. There were 1237 stairs that seemed straight up the side of the mountain. Everyone agreed that we would try to reach the top (I couldn't be out done by the 5 and 3 year olds) As you can see by our footwear, we were all prepared to accend. Earlier we had teased Preston about wearing tennis shoes everyhwere- he doesn't just love flip flops- but in the end he had the last laugh!
  Starting the climb
Spencer and Preston alternated carrying the backpack or Sydney up the mountain. That was no small task.
The view from the top. We were all sweaty sweaty.

Syd was fascinated by the statues

Krabi Thailand, Rock Climbing Part 1

Krabi, Thailand has become a favorite vacation spot for our family. It is a beautiful setting with a variety of activities. One of our favorite things to do is Rock Climb.

Waiting to head out to the climbing site!

 Adam
Adam did a great job, but when he turned around to see how far up he was he freaked out just a little.

While the boys were climbing (and after Adam was done), the younger kids hungout eating snacks and watching movies on the iPad.
Love this picture of Christopher and Preston climbing the wall near each other.
The first time we went to Krabi, Preston had just broken his collar bone and couldn't climb. He was a good sport, but a year later he was ready to climb. He even took a climbing class at school.
Preston lead climbing. It freaked me out as a Mom to watch. If you don't know why, here is more information on what I mean by 'Lead Climbing'

Catch Up

I am going to be playing catch up for the next few months. I have a goal to be completely caught up as soon as possible.   I AM WAY BEHIND! I will put dates on the posts, but I don't want to insert those back in where they belong just yet. Be patient. Spencer is happily on his mission and has been since January 31. However, because I am almost a year behind in my posts, he will be in many pictures.

East Coast Park, Ski360

Getting ready to ride bikes with the Webbs at East Coast Park. East Coast Park is a beautiful park along the beach with miles of paved bike paths.
I absolutely love the boys' faces in this picture.

The crew ready to head out. Sydney coined the word 'Waddle' during this trip. Anytime Spencer would start and the bike would move back and forth she would scream, "I hate when you waddle".

Syd patiently waiting for Spencer to get going.
Adam ready to ride with Preston.
After a long, hot ride, what better way to cool down then on the cableski course.
