We had a very nice Christmas. We opened presents, had a nice church service and then spent some time with good friends.

 We had the opportunity Christmas afternoon to attend a Christmas Program with our good friends the Jelsmas in the afternoon.

Christmas Eve

We had the pleasure of spending Christmas Eve with dear friends. A special thanks to the Webb and Stevens family for sharing their Christmas Spirit with us. It has been a blessing for our family to be able to associate with such fantastic families.

Christmas Tree Decorating

We had a great time decorating a real Christmas Tree. In Fact, we enjoyed it so much we did it twice. On the first try we totally forgot the ribbon. But on the second try it was perfect!

Jurong Bird Park

While on school break we decided to head to Jurong Bird Park. There are lots of birds from all over the world. It is one of the few things I remember visiting when I was here 25 years ago

There is a fun water feature at the park. It is a nice way cool off after walking through park.

Sydney and Jordan

From the Bird park Website: "Jurong Bird Park is home to the world's largest walk-in lory flight aviary at 3,000 square metres and over 9 stories high. Featuring 10 colourful lory species, this exhibit is a favourite amongst guests who get to feed the gregarious lories a nectar mix while observing them up close. "

The boys really enjoyed feeding the birds. Jordan and Syd were good sports, but the birds are a little aggressive and can be a bit scary.

This toilet papering was actually payback for a prank the boys played on the girls. Turn about is fair play.

Another teenager, Ethan turns 13!

We have another teenager in the house. Ethan is now the Big. One. Three. He lucked out and convinced his parents in a weak moment that he should get an Itouch for his birthday. He had saved up for a nano and was convinced that that is what he was getting and was absolutely delighted to see the Itouch.

He snitched the straight food coloring.

 These cute girls came to sing to the birthday boy. Thanks girls for the yummy cake.

 Ethan is a stellar young man. He is smart and funny and has the great ability to put those around him at ease. And lest we forget, he has a million dollar smile.

Sydney is 3!

Sydney had a great birthday! We asked her what she wanted for her birthday and she told us that she wanted anything pink. I hope that is her answer at 16. Sydney is very smart. She knows all her letters and can count really well.

Sydney is a girly girl and has even been known to use her charm to convince her brothers to paint her nails and toes.

We love having Sydney in our family. She keeps us all on our toes. She makes sure that we never say 'Potty' words (her own name for not so nice words). She is very spunky and a wee bit opinionated.(inherited from her father I am sure)
