Grandpa Barnes Comes for a Visit

We talked Grandpa Barnes into a trip out west to see us before we left. The kids could not get enough of his attention. He read and played, listened and talked with all the kids. The kids were in heaven and soaked it all in. Thanks so much DAD!
When I was young I had a 'Glow Worm'. When Sydney was born, she looked like a Glow Worm (Glow Worm Post) My Mom and Dad saw a Glow Worm and sent it to her.  It is still one of her favorite toys.
All the kids posed for a photo shoot. Grandpa was a good sport and just kept smiling.
...For many pictures

The Three Musketeers

For the last few months, Adam and Sydney have had a buddy to hang out with during the day. We enjoyed having Joseph in our home. The kids played and played and enjoyed each other's company. Thanks to the Bakers for letting us have Joseph in our home.

I am the boss too.

Sydney was playing with the window shade in our family room.  I asked her to stop a few times and she kept ignoring me.  She finally blurted out, "You are not the boss!" I told her that I was indeed the boss.  She thought about that for a minute and then looked at me and said, "I am the boss too."
Oh the wisdom of an almost two year old.

Half our Suitcases

Here is half the luggage that we are taking on the plane to Singapore.
This is a bit terrifying to me...

The Readers Digest Version of Sydney

She did it, she finally got 3 binkies in her mouth at once!!  We are so proud!
Sydney finally has enough hair to put in a pony tail.  After I put it in, she kept having me take pictures of her.  We now have 25 pictures of Sydney posing with a pony tail.
Wax in Pajamas= Difficult week of laundry trying to get wax out of Pajamas
We bought Sydney a new swimming suit for Singapore. Christopher playfully put it on over her clothes.
We spent the next 2 days trying to get it off.
Yes, she has us all wrapped around her little finger

Maybe it was too cold?

Preston was in charge of cleaning windows. I forgot to mention that it might be too cold to clean them outside...
Christopher came to the rescue with the hairdryer. The hair dryer was taking so long that Preston finally got the ice scrapper out of the car and finished the windows that way.

Jordan the cake queen!

For Christmas, Jordan got a cake decorating set. She is a natural. We have enjoyed eating her cakes.  YUMMY!
