The Park

On Labor Day we took the opportunity to play at the park.  And play we did. My kids are crazy.  I can hardly watch them.

Hot Air Balloons

When the Balloons come to town, we love to chase them.  We get in the car and try to guess where they are going to land.  We watch from our house when they lift off and then off we go in the car to follow.  We chased a few balloons and settled on chasing the BSU balloon.

We saw a few more balloons and decided to keep chasing.
At this balloon to our surprise they asked if we wanted RIDES!!!
Adam is peeking out of the hole in the basket.
They took them up in two trips.
The kids had a total blast.  It isn't every day that you get to go on a balloon ride!  Thanks to the balloon pilots for the fun rides.

Jordan's Quilt

Jordan and I decided she should make a quilt for Labor Day.  We headed for the nearest fabric store and she picked out what she liked.  She tied it and bound it.  She did an awesome job.  Way to go Jordan!

The Helmet

Last April, Christopher and I attended the annual Meals on Wheels Culinary Walk About.  We have been able to attend for several years.  This year, we even bid on an item in the Silent Auction- a signed Boise State helmet.  Christopher and another lady were bidding back and forth on the helmet.  As the auction was closing, it became apparent to Christopher that the lady was going to win no matter the cost.  He graciously 'let' her win.  After the auction closed, another man came swooping in and bid on the helmet.  He was sure that he had the winning bid. After a small disagreement between the 'swooping man' and the 'determined lady', they took their dilema to the person in charge of the auction.  Christopher went along to make sure that everyone knew that the lady had won fair and square.  After a quick phone call, the person in charge of the auction said that she could get another helmet and they could both have one.  Suddenly the 'swooping man' stomped off in a huff and said he didn't want it after all.  Christopher said that if 'swooping man' didn't want it, we would gladly take it.  So after a boat load of cash, we are the proud owners of....

Flipping Out

Our Kids are crazy. They might not admit it, but I do. This summer has been the summer of FLIPS.  I can hardly watch them.  Christopher gets on the tramp and flips with them.

Family Pictures

We finally have an updated family picture (see above). My friend Tara Motyer is a wonderful photographer and took these wonderful photos.

Sydney couldn't resist pulling Jordan's hair.
